Tuija Lindström

Tuija Lindström was born in Kotka, Finland, in 1950 and was active in Stockholm until her death in December 2017. She graduated from Konstfack in 1984 and was appointed the first female professor of photography at the School of Photography and Film, University of Gothenburg, where she was employed from 1992–2002. Her photographs have been shown in several international exhibitions since the 1980s and are represented in collections at the Moderna Museet, Stockholm, the Finnish Museum of Photography, Helsinki, Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, Helsinki and the Houston Art Museum, USA.
