Anders Petersen, born 1944 in Stockholm is noted for his intimate and personal documentary-style black and white photographs. Three years ago, beginning in 1967, he photographed the late-night regulars (prostitutes, transvestites, drunks, lovers and drug addicts) at Café Lehmitz, a bar in Hamburg, Germany. Ever since then he has been working with his own photographs, produced several exhibitions and photography books. He is one of the most known photographers in Sweden and also internationally.
