Photographer Dan Isaac Wallin leaves civilization behind, walks across deserts, and travels to remote islands. He lugs with him large format cameras and Polaroid film. Stays out in nature for weeks, meditating and observing the surrounding landscape. Despite the expenses of time and hardships, it’s worth it. When the composition comes alive, in that moment of exposure, something larger appears, something beyond the relationship between perspective, camera and subject. To Dan, photography is a process – and artistic, technical and craftsman like expedition.

 Dan Isaac Wallin is based in Gothenburg where he has his studio. He has published four photo books, and his work is exhibited in galleries in Sweden and internationally.
