Martin Widlund (1980) enjoys most of the aspects in photography, but urban exploration and architecture is the one closest to his heart. He is intrigued by old and abandoned places and the things that are left behind and the history of the places. His photographs are a key to imagining what happened behind the closed doors. Widlund seeks out places that most just walk by every day without giving it a thought, or places that are lost and forgotten and must be searched for. He looks at architecture as a mix of creativity and complexity, all the different structures that mankind is able to build and the different ways to capture this in a photograph.
