Mikael Jansson is one of Sweden's most acclaimed fashion photographers internationally and is today primarily known for his major campaigns and celebrity portraits. Mikael Jansson's interest in photography began in his teens through music when he entered arenas and concert halls to photograph bands visiting Stockholm. He got into fashion photography early on and moved to New York in the 1980s where he was trained by Richard Avedon.
